I know there was Lingo back in 1987 and 1988 hosted by Ronald Reagan's son; Michael Reagan.
I would like GSN The Network for Games to show those episodes at 7:00 PM E/P followed by the latest episodes at 7:30 PM E/P
There are so many five letter words used back then.
Back in '87 and in '88 the contestants are playing for money.
The team with most money wins and plays the bonus round called the "No Lingo Round".
People can nearly double their total winnings every game.
I will contact GSN for feedback.
I voted for them all... Wink
Well, I'd like to be the co-host...:-)

They should keep Shandi. She's a great co-host.

I watch Lingo mainly for Chuck...
I want Shandi to be back for season six and be co-host all the way.
I say keep Shandi...she is the only reason I watch Lingo.
I want GSN to have 1-hour episodes of Lingo.
Starting on Season ?.
$25 per word and $50 per Lingo and a free letter for Bonus Lingo.
Dollar values increase by $25 per word and $50 per Lingo.
Up to $100 per word and $200 per Lingo.
The first team to $1000 gets to play Bonus Lingo for up to $10000 and a weekly bonus prize.
If no one gets to $1000 in 24 puzzles, we get to play sudden death.
The winner gets to play bonus lingo.
As you know in Bonus Lingo, you get $100 and a lingo ball per word.
After time runs out, you get to play for at least 10x the amount won in bonus lingo. For example: If you get 4 Lingo Balls, you get $400, and you play for at least $4,000. If you get a Lingo on the first ball pulled, you instantly get $10,000 and the bonus prize.
And If you get 10 Lingo Balls, you automatically get $10,000 even if you don't get a lingo on the first ball pulled.
I know the record for getting 10 Lingo Balls was in 1 minute 46 seconds.
After Bonus Lingo, you get to play again and meet a new team of challengers.
The challengers always go first.
And They should use name tags for the full-hour episodes and have money amounts displayed on the podiums. The money amount is between the two buzzer lights for each podium.
The first 20 Lingo episodes on GSN had 80 contestants, and the first season has given away over $50000 in cash and prizes.
I gotta watch them all even on the weekends.

Shandi Finnessey and Mel Peachey are co-hosts of PlayMania.
I want GSF to feature an episode guide for season 4 of LINGO.
This poll I have here, you can pick multiple instead of just one.
It is in the "new thread" menu for a poll.
I have quit doing episode guides for the site because I end up missing episodes and the guide gets messed up. Several people offered to do one, but I have never had anyone stick with it, so I quit having guides on the site except for the ones existing already.
Well the 15th episode of Season 4 is followed by the 5th episode of Season 5 on GSN. starting at 7:00 PM E/P
So they aren't doing new episodes now? When will they start a new season?
I think GSN has yet to commit for a sixth season of "Lingo", but I have a feeling it will happen...maybe not for a while since they have a lot of other new programs they are doing, but eventually.
I would like there to be the old episodes of Lingo back in 1987-1988.
I seen the very first episode at YouTube.

The first episode in 1987 should be followed by the season premiere.

Old episodes of Lingo dated back in 1987-1988 would be on at 7 PM E/P followed by New episodes of Lingo (Season 6) at 7:30 PM E/P.

THE CAST OF LINGO

Dusty Martell ... Co-Host ... September 1987 - August 1988
Margaux Mackenzie ... Co-Host ... September 1988

Randy Thomas ... Announcer ... December 2002 - June 2003

Those are the real people of Lingo

The 20th Anniversary of Lingo will be held in September 2007 (in the 7th season?)
Since the fourth progressive jackpot was not claimed by the end of last season,

The next season will continue the progressive jackpot (Which stands at $25,000)

Season 6 will be in 30-minute episodes.

The rumor says there might be full-hour episodes.
(If GSN decides when they will make LINGO in full-hour shows)
Who has said anything about hour-long shows?
Well, I think I made it up.
Please don't post rumors like that unless you can back them up with a news source.
he he... I can't wait when GSN decides that LINGO should have 60-minute episodes.
Somehow, I doubt that will happen, at least on a regular basis.
LINGO in 1987-1988 had returning champions. (up to 3 times a champ).

I want new episodes to feature returning champions (up to 5 times a champ).
