Does anyone know. If you get selected to be on a game show, do they pay your way? Meaning, airlines. Where does Deal or No Deal tape? And finally, if I sent in an audition tape for a show, do I call and see if they received it and promote myself?
Alot of the shows tape in or around Los Angeles. Millionaire tapes in New York. Some shows will pay the way, while others such as The Price is Right you'll have to pay your own way to get out there. Probably your best bet is to see when shows you'd like to be on are coming near your area looking for contestants. Deal or No Deal and Wheel of Fortune do contestant searches all over the United States so you may be able to find a locale they are going to close to you in which to audition.
